Agriculture - Vehicles, Machinery and Intrastructure Level 3
What will I learn?
This programme is designed to develop people to the level where they have the knowledge and skills under limited supervision to safely use and maintain a range of farm resources.
Course content includes:
- Farm machinery (advanced) - quads, tractor, LUVs
- Chainsaws
- Maintain Infrastructure
- Maintain Agriculture Machinery
- Fencing
- Hanging a pre-built gate
How can this Programme help me?
This course will give you the New Zealand Certificate in Agriculture Level 3
On completion of this programme, you will be able to:
- Apply knowledge of maintaining and using farm machinery
- Apply knowledge of maintaining and setting up farm infrastructure
You will be able to apply to higher levels of learning such the New Zealand Certificate in Horticulture Services (Level 4)
How long is the course?
This course runs for 20 weeks.
When? Where?
Intakes – from early March onwards.
Courses will run from 8.30am – 3.00pm at our Thames Training site.
Work expeirence is offered two days per week - you also be working in the Horticulture sector whilst studying
Entry requirements
- You must be 16 years and above.
- You will be required to supply a birth certificate as proof of identity.
